Absolute Gifts is a New Zealand owned gift basket business run by Veronica and her creative team (family) from their Kapiti based workroom.

It caters for clients needing Wellington gifts or Kapiti gift baskets. Each gift basket is hand created, wrapped, with bows, ribbons and an appropriate card attached, before being delivered to your chosen destination. Absolute Gifts workroom is close to the beach which looks out towards Kapiti Island. This is featured on their beautiful cards with the words "Especially for You" . Baby gift baskets have lovely individual baby cards attached.

Corporate colours in your decorations (can be provided on request) with our signature hand made bows. Unique design baskets or boxes for corporate clients can also be provided if requested. Otherwise please make your choice from our large selection of Kapiti gift baskets and gifts.

Veronica (the owner operator) has had 17 years experience in the Gourmet food industry. Making gift baskets for Corporate, Parliamentarians and numerous retail customers. This is where she first discovered her love of assembling products into gift baskets. Veronica is also an accomplished dressmaker, knitter and has done many other arts and crafts.

Veronica dislikes waste and endeavors to make the gifts totally re usable. Have a look at her Towel wrap gift set: a bath towel and toiletries all wrapped in cellophane and finished with one of her signature bows, ribbons and a card attached "Especially for You".

Our practical gift solutions consist of top quality New Zealand made products where-ever possible. We pride ourselves on using minimal packaging within those gift baskets so that you the customer is paying for a totally useful gift.

Through Veronica's training as a Student general nurse upon leaving school she gained an insight into Diabetics and how to meet their needs. She has always had a keen interest in health and preventative care. Hence the baskets for Diabetics and for Celiac - both make up a large segment of our population that is largely uncatered for. We will slowly develop this area as demand dictates.

Veronica and husband Norm have three adult children and four grand children. Her cousin has Type 2 Diabetes and his wife has Type 1, plus she has had an organ transplant. Our Diabetic range has been checked out by the Kapiti Diabetes branch passing with flying colours. Thank you both Barbara and Chris for your ongoing advise on Diabetes.
